Great pizza, good house wine, good table service, reasonable prices.  The decoration of the dinning area could be up-dated a bit.  Our fork discount was honored.

Il nome &quot;Casa del pellegrino&quot; &egrave; azzeccato. L&#39;impressione &egrave; di un luogo in cui trovare ristoro senza pretese.

Il locale &egrave; spartano e molto semplice, non lo definirei propriamente accogliente, l&rsquo;illuminazione &egrave; fredda, le pareti spoglie, le sedie di plastica.  Per&ograve; il cibo &egrave; stato una sorpresa: ci si mangia bene, porzioni pi&ugrave; che giuste e prezzi onesti.  La cucina &egrave; tradizionale e senza fronzoli, ottimo il gulasch, buona la grigliata di carne e una menzione speciale per i dolci, alcuni fatti da loro come l&rsquo;ottimo strudel di mele e alcuni fatti a regola d&rsquo;arte da una famosa pasticceria Triestina. Si trova in posizione strategica, proprio sotto il Santuario del Monte Grisa. Il nome &egrave; assolutamente perfetto, perch&eacute; pi&ugrave; che un ristorante &egrave; proprio la casa del pellegrino: nella sala interna, rumorosa e con una pessima acustica, nei giorni festivi ci trovi grupponi chiassosi di pellegrini, per l&rsquo;appunto, ma fortunatamente l&rsquo;ambiente &egrave; spazioso e se non fosse per il rumore eccessivo andrebbe tutto bene. Nell&rsquo;insieme &egrave; un posto meritevole dove tornerei, soprattutto nei giorni non festivi, ma assolutamente non adatto a pasti formali o eleganti.

Posto molto semplice ed informale. Piatti semplici ma buoni. Per pagare con the fork pay bisogna avvisare subito.
